MARBLE HILL -- Stella K. Cook, 85, of Marble Hill died Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, at Bond Nursing Care Center.
She was born April 2, 1911, at Hurricane, daughter of Dave and Barbara Causey Long. She and Perl Cook were married June 23, 1929.
Cook attended Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Donald Cook of Marble Hill; three daughters, Helen Welker of Fenton, Shirley Fulbright of Marble Hill, Dean Roark of Glen Allen; two brothers, the Revs. Jessie and Arzie Long of Marble Hill; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and 10 brothers.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Sander officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Church Cemetery.
