MATTHEWS -- Steffanie Jo Hammock, 26, of Matthews, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1995, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born Feb. 21, 1969, in Sikeston, daughter of Donald Eugene and Jane Evans Hammock Jr. Hammock was a 1987 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School, and had worked at 76 Truck Stop. MATTHEWS -- Steffanie Jo Hammock, 26, of Matthews, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1995, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born Feb. 21, 1969, in Sikeston, daughter of Donald Eugene and Jane Evans Hammock Jr.

Hammock was a 1987 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School, and had worked at 76 Truck Stop. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Canalou and Big Prairie Jaycees.

Survivors include her parents; three brothers, Don Hammock III of Cleveland, Ohio, Jon Hammock of New Madrid, Chet Hammock of Matthews, and paternal grandparents, Don and Winifred Hammock of Morehouse.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Slaten officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
