SCOTT CITY -- Stanley Mayfield, 62, of Grubville died Monday, March 6, 2000, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur.

He was born July 31, 1937, at Illmo, son of Layton and Hazel Mayfield.

Mayfield was a tire retreader 11 years with Community Tire Retreading in St. Louis.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; a daughter, Jennie Wright of Cadet; four sons, Douglas Mayfield of Cedar Hill, Matthew Jorn of St. Charles, Richard Jorn of Little Rock, Ark., Phillip Jorn of Kirksville; a brother, Layton "Win" Mayfield of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles from 3-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Baue Chapel. Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
