He was born Oct. 22, 1941, in Leopold, Missouri, son of Elmer and Adeline Elfrink Clippard. He and Evelyn Beussink were married May 29, 1965. In 2015, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Together, they were loving parents to four children and were blessed with 13 grandchildren. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Timon Council.

Stanley was a member of the Missouri National Guard. He was employed with Overhead Door Co. in Jackson and then retired after a 45-year career with Dutch Enterprises. Stanley loved spending time at his family farm and Ten Point Hunting Club. He could often be found hunting and gardening. He particularly enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and cousin Ed Arnzen.

He was a man of enduring faith, reminding his children and grandchildren the importance of attending Mass. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He passed on his love of the outdoors to each of them. He rarely missed a ballgame, track meet, tennis match or award ceremony, taking pride in their accomplishments.

Ever the voice of reason and good advice, quick to laugh and joke with his family and friends, his presence will be missed.
