MCCLURE, Ill. -- Stanley B. Mainer Sr., 79, of St. Charles, Mo., died Tuesday, May 23, 1995, at his home.
He was born Nov. 21, 1915, at McClure.
Mainer worked at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis 32 years, retiring as shipping clerk. He was a life member of VFW Post 2866 in St. Charles. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son, S. Burnell Mainer Jr. of St. Charles; three daughters, Judi Weible of Trabuco Canyon, Calif., Carolyn Banze and Debra Short of St. Charles; two sisters, Hazel Hileman of Waterloo, Maude Smith of Columbia; a brother, Cloyd Mainer of Columbia; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and four brothers.
Friends may call at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles from 2-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
