SIMON LEO WESTRICH

Simon Leo Westrich, 95, died Saturday, June 15, 1996, at the St. Francis Medical Center.

He was a retired drill press operator and worked for 33 years at the Marquette Cement Co., was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1111 and a member of the United Cement Lime Gypsum Workers.

He is survived by two sons, Alfred H. Westrich and Leroy J. Westrich, both of Cape Girardeau, and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Old St. Vincent Catholic Church, with the Revs. Glen Eftink and James Seyer officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 tonight at Ford and Son Funeral Home on Mount Auburn Road, with a special parish prayer said at 7, and a Knights of Columbus rosary said at 7:30.
