ORAN -- Sidney Earl McVay, 76, of Crowder, died at his home Friday, Jan. 31, 1992.
He was born in McNary County, Tenn., on July 14, 1915, son of Sidney and Nan Wilson McVay.
He worked as an attendant at various service stations until his retirement.
He moved to the Vanduser area 25 years ago from Mississippi.
He was a member of the Disabled Veterans (DAV), Chapter 57.
Survivors include two sons, James McVay, address unknown, and Billy McVay, Memphis, Tenn.; a daughter, Donna Mcvay, of Texas; and a brother, Richard McVay, of Corinth, Miss.
Service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, with the Rev. Marvin Graham officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until service time.
