SIKESTON, Mo. -- Sidney R. Fraley, 53, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 27, 1949, in Sikeston, son of Raymond E. "Shot" and Rachel Ellen Coppage Fraley. He and Lee DeField were married Sept. 14, 1979, in Charleston, Mo.
Fraley was a 1967 graduate of Matthews High School in Matthews, Mo., and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia.
He was service manager 13 years with Fabick Brothers Equipment Co.
Fraley served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Zach Fraley of Sikeston, Rick Slaughter of Orlando, Fla.; his father of Matthews; two sisters, Cathey Daniels of Matthews, Carrie Farley of Chesterfield, Va.; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a son.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Revs. Mike Cartwright and Roger Jesperman officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery at Charleston, Mo.
