ANNA, Ill. -- Sibyl Miller, 94, of Anna died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill. She was born Sept. 17, 1914, in Anna, daughter of George and Nannie Davis Lence. She and Benjamin Archie Miller were married in 1931 in Murphysboro, Ill. He died Dec. 17, 1963...

ANNA, Ill. -- Sibyl Miller, 94, of Anna died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

She was born Sept. 17, 1914, in Anna, daughter of George and Nannie Davis Lence. She and Benjamin Archie Miller were married in 1931 in Murphysboro, Ill. He died Dec. 17, 1963.

Miller retired from International Shoe Co. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Russell Miller; a daughter, Margie Kimbro; a sister, Kathleen Winn, all of Anna; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doug Bridgeman officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
