SIBYL MENEES

ANNA, Ill. -- Sibyl Menees, 95, of Anna, Ill., died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 1994, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Dec. 20, 1898, at Anna, daughter of James S. and Alice Jackson Manus.

She married John Vinis "Si" Menees, Dec. 13, 1921. He died Jan. 3, 1967.

Menees was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anna.

She was a retired psychiatric aide with the Choate Mental Health Center.

Survivors include two brothers, Paul Manus and Earl Manus, both of Anna; a nephew, Bob Manus of Anna; and a niece, Pat Kapica of Chicago, Ill.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating.

Burial will follow in the Anna Cemetery.
