PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Shirley H. Wills, 70, of Perryville died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at her home. She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Pueblo, Colo., daughter of Harry and Hattie Steben Triebes. She and Vernon L. Wills were married June 13, 1964. Wills received a teaching degree from St. John's College in Winfield, Kan. She had been a teacher, secretary and librarian at Immanuel Lutheran School...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Shirley H. Wills, 70, of Perryville died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at her home.

She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Pueblo, Colo., daughter of Harry and Hattie Steben Triebes. She and Vernon L. Wills were married June 13, 1964.

Wills received a teaching degree from St. John's College in Winfield, Kan. She had been a teacher, secretary and librarian at Immanuel Lutheran School.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and choir, was organist and a Sunday school teacher, member of the extension club, and past president of the Chancel Guild.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ron Wills of Perryville; a daughter, Carla Adams of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Church, with the Revs. Thomas Handrick, Matthew Marks and Christopher Cole officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
