JACKSON, Mo. -- Funeral for Shirley Ann Miller of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo. The Rev. Bud Snider will officiate. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie, Mo.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Miller, 63, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, at the home of a daughter in O'Fallon, Mo.
She was born Oct. 15, 1937, in Patterson, Ark., daughter of Roland T. and Helen Winniger Baker. She and Buddy Miller were married March 17, 1958, in St. Louis. He died July 25, 1998.
Miller lived in St. Louis 30 years, moving to Patton, Mo., in 1993, and to Jackson in 1999. She was a member of the United Methodist Church near Patton, and the Quilting Club in Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Puzniak of O'Fallon, Donna Johnson of Bernie; three sons, Bill and Randy Miller of O'Fallon, Danny Miller of St. Peters, Mo.; two sisters, Jo Ann Ray of Memphis, Tenn., Barbara Watkins of Bernie; five brothers, Donnie Baker of Bernie, Wayne and Gary Baker of Dexter, Jerry Baker of Malden, Mo., Von Baker of St. Louis; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
