PUXICO, Mo. -- Funeral for Shirley McLean of Dupo, Ill., will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Life Chapel Assembly of God Church in Puxico. The Revs. Gary Schluckebier and Eddie Bennett will officiate. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 6-8 p.m. today.

McLean, 62, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 26, 1938, in Puxico, daughter of Ed and Delia Waller Bennett. She and Bobby McLean were married Oct. 19, 1957, in Puxico.

McLean spent her early life in Puxico, and had lived in Dupo the past 25 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Cahokia, Ill.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Bobby McLean Jr. of Puxico, Roger McLean of Dupo, Terry McLean of Columbia, Ill.; a daughter, Tonda McLean of Dupo; two brothers, Bobby Bennett of Doniphan, Mo., John Bennett of Jenner, Calif.; a sister, Marilyn Brock of Cahokia; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
