OAK RIDGE -- Shirley J. Rees, 67, of Bradenton, Fla., died Sunday, Oct. 30, 1994, at Manatee Memorial Hospital there.
She was born in Oak Ridge, and was formerly of Cape Girardeau. Rees moved to Manatee County in 1966, and was a member of Community Church of God. She had been a school bus driver.
Survivors include three daughters, Sandy Davis of Myakka City, Fla., Sheila Rock of Bradenton, Brenda Billy of Palmetto, Fla.; a son, James Rees of Bradenton; two sisters, Flora Robinson of Black, Frances Rathert of Fenton; two brothers, Herbert Brown of Springfield, Lloyd Brown of Louisville, Ky.; 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Shannon Funeral Home in Bradenton from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday, with Pastor Paul Cushman officiating. Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park.
