CHARLESTON -- Shirley Ann Fitzgerald, 43, of Charleston died Monday, June 9, 1997, at her home.
She was born Nov. 7, 1953, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Oris Douglas and Mary Louise Lomax Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald had lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathie Garrett of Charleston, Crystal Fitzgerald of Wyatt; her father of Clinton, Ind.; six brothers, Riley Fitzgerald of Wyatt, Don, Clint and Michael Fitzgerald, all of Jacksonville, Fla., Coy Fitzgerald of Sikeston, Charlie Fitzgerald of East Prairie; four sisters, Bess Garner of Wyatt, Charlotte Wollett of Austin, Texas, Linda Toole of Dade City, Fla., Evelyn Redditt of Zephyrhills, Fla.; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5:30-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Meeks officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
