EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Funeral for Shirley Dean Dick of Cantonment, Fla., was held June 24, 2000, at Stygar Florissant Chapel in Florissant. The Rev. Rex Loy officiated. Burial was in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens at Pagedale.

Dick, 65, died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at West Florida Regional Medical Center in Pensacola.

He was born Jan. 24, 1935, at East Prairie, son of Raymond and Mildred Mayberry Dick.

Dick was a truck driver with Consolidated Freightways in St. Louis 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army.

He moved to Cantonment three years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Ava; a daughter, Anissa Dick; a son, Darren Dick; three stepsons; a stepdaughter; and a twin sister, Freda Whiteside of Cape Girardeau.
