SHIRLEY CLIFTON

ANNA, Ill. -- Shirley Ann Clifton, 59, of Anna died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

She was born Dec. 1, 1939, at Cairo, daughter of Jesse Elbert and Katherine Fraelick Morgan. She and Kenneth Clifton were married Nov. 14, 1989, at Jonesboro.

Survivors include her husband; her mother; her stepfather, Norman Lee Boyd of Anna; a son, Benny Joles of Jonesboro; four daughters, Crystal Maloney, Melanie Winchester and Lisa Joles, all of Anna, and Stephany Buelna of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, John Boyd of Cape Girardeau; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, a son and a daughter.

Memorial services for the family will be held tonight. The Rev. Kenneth Mixen will officiate.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home of Anna is in charge of arrangements.
