Shirley Ann Blinn, 83, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Herrin, Ill., died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at her home.
She was born Sept. 20, 1927, in Detroit to Delbert and Mabel Smith Dahmer. She and LeRoy J. Blinn Sr. were married Aug. 29, 1963, in Detroit. He died Nov. 25, 2008.
Mrs. Blinn worked at Massey Ferguson Tractor Co. She was a resident of Herrin 24 years before moving to Cape Girardeau in 2010 to be closer to her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Jim) Cook of Cape Girardeau, Judy LaLonde of Victorville, Calif.; two stepsons, LeRoy John (Cindy) Blinn Jr. and Gary (Laurie) Blinn of Apison, Tenn.; a sister, Betty (Melvin) Markwardt of Livonia, Mich.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be from noon to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Towner officiating.
