BURKBURNETT, Texas -- Shirley Mae Beckham, 83, of Burkburnett, formerly of Jackson, died Monday, Oct, 7, 2019, at her daughter's home in Texas.
She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Cape Girardeau to Robert and Linda Alvina Heider Sievers. She and Emanuel August Wilhelm were married. He preceded her in death in 1969. She then married Weldon Beckham, and he also preceded her in death.
She was owner and operator of MAC's Restaurant in Jackson and The Dairy Castle in Cape Girardeau.
She was a lifelong member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Fruitland, where she played the organ for several years.
Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn (Tony) Moore of Oak Ridge, Margaret (Jimmy) McNew of Burkburnett, Wanda (Marty) Johnson of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, and Ellen (Greg) Wann of St. Louis; grandchildren, Robert (Amy) Moore, Staci (Brady) Dennis, Aaron McNew, Marty (Carol) Johnson, Kristen Wann, Jessica Atterberry, Crystal (Michael) Cunningham and Willie Wilhelm; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two sons, David and Raymond; and two brothers, Raymond and Melvin.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's United Church of Christ in Fruitland, with the Rev. Rodney Pensel officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. John's Church or cemetery.
