SHERRY RUTH ROSE

JACKSON -- Sherry Ruth Rose, formerly of Jackson, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1991, in Van, Turkey.

She was born at Gordonville, Feb. 22, 1952, daughter of Walter and Ruth Siebert Rose.

Survivors include her mother, Ruth Volkerding and stepfather, Joe Volkerding, both of Jackson; brother, Darryl Rose, Bartlett, Tenn.; two stepsisters, Judy Wendel of Jackson and Jane Windisch, Cape Girardeau; and five nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Rose graduated from the University of Missouri in 1976. She was office manager for Morstin Co., of St. Louis, until 1985, and for the past seven years, she has traveled abroad extensively.

Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson, with Rev. Karl Leeman officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery at Gordonville.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
