Sherry Jean McLaird, 73, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at the Monticello House in Jackson. She was born Feb. 13, 1943, in Searcy, Arkansas, the daughter of Raymond L. and Katherine Massey May Jr. Loving survivors include two daughters, Deborah A. Moore of O’Fallon, Illinois, and Cindy (Kent) Wetzler of Waterloo, Illinois; two brothers, Steven May and Kevin May of Florida; and a half-brother, Victor M. Rowe of St. Louis...

She was born Feb. 13, 1943, in Searcy, Arkansas, the daughter of Raymond L. and Katherine Massey May Jr.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Deborah A. Moore of O’Fallon, Illinois, and Cindy (Kent) Wetzler of Waterloo, Illinois; two brothers, Steven May and Kevin May of Florida; and a half-brother, Victor M. Rowe of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry McLaird.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
