TAMMS, Ill. -- Sherry E. Jordan, 63, of Tamms passed away at 1:20 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at home.

Sherry was born June 22, 1953, in Anna, Illinois, daughter of the late Jimmy D. Cline and Bertha E. (Coleman) Cline.

She was a housewife and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Jordan of Tamms; a son, Christopher Jordan of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Kendra Jordan of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Garrett Jordan and Alexandra Jordan; and two sisters, Minnie Jordan of Clay, New York, and Betty Ann (Orville) Cox of Red Bud, Illinois.

Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home Tamms, where memorial services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Brent Gordon officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at the Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, Illinois.
