Sherri Jackson

Sherri Kay Jackson, daughter of the late David and Jackie Walton Myers, was born March 11, 1949, in Gordonville, and departed her life Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 73 years.

On June 23, 1989, she married Jackie Jackson at Arrowhead Camp Grounds in Grassy, Missouri. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Gary Davis of Patton, Missouri, and Chuck (Mary) Davis of Steelville, Missouri; one daughter, Jeanne (Paul) New of Cape Girardeau; one stepson, Wally (Gloria) Jackson of Patton; two stepdaughters, Darlene (Ron) MacCubbin of Leopold, Missouri, and Jennifer McBride of Delta; 18 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Apart from her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Stacie Boyer.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Lehman Shirrell officiating. Internment will be at a later date.
