Shelby Denise Lewis, 51, of Washington, D.C., died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. She was born Nov. 14, 1957, in Chicago, daughter of John Henry and Mary Sue Campbell McCline. Lewis was a nurse. Shelby Denise Lewis, 51, of Washington, D.C., died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

She was born Nov. 14, 1957, in Chicago, daughter of John Henry and Mary Sue Campbell McCline.

Lewis was a nurse.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Mary and Harry Wilson; a brother, Tony McCline; and a sister, Alice McCline, all of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to service time Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Debbie Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
