SHELBA ANN POWERS

Shelba Ann Powers, 53, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Nov. 21, 1938, at Blodgett, daughter of Charles and Nellie Mayberry Senciboy. She married David Powers Aug. 29, 1959, at Shawneetown, Ill.

She moved here in 1966 from Advance. She worked at Inland Shoe Co. six years, and at Florsheim Shoe Co. 13 years. She retired in 1978 because of ill health. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include three sons, David and Lance Powers of Cape Girardeau, Jerry Powers of St. Joseph; a daughter, Tammy Graham of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Linda Jarrell and Carolyn Jarrell of Bloomfield, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Kim Ferguson will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
