Layton, 45, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 1996, at St. Thomas Medical Center in Nashville.

She was born Jan. 28, 1951, in Sikeston, daughter of Andrew Jack and Freda Williams Layton.

Layton was a customer service representative with Roadrunner Freight Systems.

Survivors include her mother of Sikeston.
