Shayleigh Smith

Shayleigh Marie Smith, 18, of Jackson passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021.

She was born June 12, 2003, in Cape Girardeau to Lisa Allen.

Shayleigh was a 2021 graduate of Jackson High School. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and listening to music. Shayleigh was a friend to so many and will missed by all who knew her. She also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

She leaves behind her mother, Lisa Allen, and her fiance, Karel Woods of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Jazmyne Lucious of Jackson and Quante King of Lilbourn, Missouri; brother, Zadrian Smith of New Madrid, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Sarah and Dennis Allen of Jackson; paternal grandmother, Renae Long of Lilbourn; uncles, Darryl (Brittany) Allen of Jackson and Todd (Connie) Allen of Bloomfield, Missouri; aunt, Jennifer Crites of Jackson; cousins, Mykael Medley, Jordan Carter, Makenzie Allen, Hayden Sweeney and Ashton Overy.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
