PUXICO -- Shawn D. Whitesell, 41, of Cahokia, Ill., died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at his home.
He was born April 17, 1958, at Cape Girardeau, son of Frank and Juanita Stephens Whitesell.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Survivors include his parents of Keysport, Ill.; two brothers, Scott Whitesell of Cahokia and Steve Whitesell of Dupo, Ill; and a sister, Susie Fitzgibbons of Cahokia.
Visitation will be from 5:30-9 p.m. today at Braun Colonial Funeral Home in Cahokia.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tim Ritzel officiating.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Puxico City Cemetery.
