SIKESTON -- Shawn DeWayne Ergle, 20, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, May 10, 1995, from injuries received in an automobile accident on Highway 61 North.

He was born May 28, 1974, in Dexter, son of James and Teresa J. Jackson Ergle. He and Michelle Evans were married Sept. 10, 1994, at Sikeston.

Ergle was a 1992 graduate of Sikeston High School. He was employed at Campus Auto and Tire in Cape Girardeau, and attended Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include his wife; father and stepmother, James and Belinda Ergle of Sikeston; mother and stepfather, Teresa and Frank Lyons of Van Buren; a half sister, Mary Marshall of Bloomfield; two stepbrothers, Scott and Timmy Lyons of Van Buren; a stepsister, Erica Beavers of Sikeston; maternal grandmother, Betty Williams of East Prairie, and paternal grandparents, Lee and Lueanna Ergle of Matthews.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Sam Book officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
