JACKSON, Mo. -- Sharon Marie Vaughn, 51, of Jackson died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Alpine North Nursing Home in Riverside, Mo.

She was born Sept. 11, 1949, at Fort Francis E. Warren Air Base in Wyoming, daughter of Paul B. and Sophia C. Heider Vaughn.

Vaughn worked in the accounting department at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. She moved to Jackson in March 1998 from Belleville, Ill.

Survivors include five sisters, Rosalee Schultz of Blue Springs, Mo., Kay Carroll of Cape Girardeau, Mary Luhman of Gaithersburg, Md., her twin, Karen O'Carroll of Chandler, Ariz., Deborah Shank of Jackson; a brother, Ronald Vaughn of San Diego, Calif.; and a half brother, Donald Vaughn of North Fort Myers, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Belleville from 9-11 a.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gary Byers will officiate. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville.
