Sharon Kay Rowland, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, at her home.
She was born Dec. 17, 1946, in Cape Girardeau to Irvin Garms and Dorothy Baker. She and James Wilson Rowland were married Jan. 15, 1972, at Cape Girardeau.
She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and Beta Sigma Phi. She and her husband owned Eagle Oil Co.
Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother, and she loved animals.
Survivors include her son, Travis Rowland of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Jennifer Rowland of Cape Girardeau; stepdaughter, Christy Bleily of Boise, Idaho; and grandchild, Tucker Rowland.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jeff Long officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
