ANNA, Ill. -- Sharon Poole, 58, of Anna died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at Union County Hospital. She was born Dec. 30, 1942, in Anna, daughter of Howard and Lee Ann Hinkle Nimmo. ANNA, Ill. -- Sharon Poole, 58, of Anna died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at Union County Hospital.

She was born Dec. 30, 1942, in Anna, daughter of Howard and Lee Ann Hinkle Nimmo. She and Merle Poole were married Aug. 19,1960.

Poole was a bookkeeper at Five County Vocational System in Tamms, Ill. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Anna.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sonya Crane of Anna, Tonya Lawhead of Kokomo, Ind.; a son, Dennis Poole of Benton, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, and a brother.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Revs. Norman and Mildred Sloan will officiate. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery.
