HAZELWOOD, Mo. -- Sharon Lynn Herkenhoff, 57, of Hazelwood passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at her sister's home in Advance, Missouri.

She was born Jan. 2, 1961, in Dexter, Missouri, the daughter of Oliver "Bud" Roscoe and Mildred Alice Wallace Hazel.

Sharon worked for 29 years at Hussmann in Bridgeton, Missouri. She was a member of the United Steelworkers Local No. 9014. She loved making crafts, flowers and fishing.

Survivors include two sons, Jarrod (Melissa) Elfrink and Quinton Herkenhoff, both of Bell City, Missouri; a grandson, Baylor Elfrink of Bell City; three brothers, Ben Hazel of Bloomfield, Missouri; Bill Hazel of Advance and Charlie Hazel of Zalma, Missouri; four sisters, Louise Ford and Dorothy Sturgeon, both of Advance; Alice Wright of Hernado, Mississippi, and Regina Ulloa of Rockledge, Florida; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ronnie and Harold Hazel; and two sisters, Barbara Ann Hazel and Brenda McKenzie.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lewis Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
