Sharon Brown

ORAN, Mo. -- Sharon Kay Brown, 47, of Oran died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at the home of a special friend in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born Aug. 28, 1959, in Advance, daughter of Bob and Berdine Cureton Wilkerson. She married Darrell Brown, who died Sept. 13, 1984.

Brown was a private duty nurse with Harris Management in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of the Church on the Rock.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Darren and Kristina Brown and Kalab Brown, all of Oran; her parents of Sikeston; a brother, Tim Wilkerson of Sikeston; a sister, Debbie Nelson of Benton, Mo.; two grandchildren, Ciara and Jayden Brown of Oran; a niece, Crystal Nelson Morgan of Oran; three nephews, Travis Nelson of Benton, Jason Wilkerson of Maryville, Calif., Bobby Wilkerson of Sikeston; and a special friend, Anthony Scheffer of Sikeston.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the Church on the Rock, with the Rev. Curtis True officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield, Mo.
