SELMA L. SUTTON
BLOOMFIELD -- Selma L. Sutton, 85, of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1993, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews. She was born Aug. 28, 1907, in Clarksville, Ark., daughter of Robert Henry and Creacy Edith Throop Rushing. She and William B. "Bill" Sutton were married Jan. 7, 1937, in East Prairie. He died Aug. 18, 1985...
BLOOMFIELD -- Selma L. Sutton, 85, of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1993, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews.
She was born Aug. 28, 1907, in Clarksville, Ark., daughter of Robert Henry and Creacy Edith Throop Rushing. She and William B. "Bill" Sutton were married Jan. 7, 1937, in East Prairie. He died Aug. 18, 1985.
Sutton was a member of First Baptist Church at Essex.

Survivors include a son, Robert Sutton of Bloomfield; four daughters, Johnnie Hawkins of Austin, Texas, Peggy Giles of Marysville, Calif., Sue Razer of Wappapello, Linda Parker of Bloomfield; a sister, Elsie Sutton of Matthews; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and four brothers.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Doyle Corlew will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
