Seairl Frances Fischer, 76, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, June 23, 2006, in Irvington, Ala.
She was born Aug. 4, 1929, in Marie, Ark., daughter of Clarence "Slim" and Beulah Smith May. She was raised by foster parents, Lois and Doc Yarbro.
She attended the Gospel Fellowship Church in Grand Bay, Ala.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Haynes of McHenry, Ill., Richard Hanes of Herrin, Ill., Roger Gore of Rockford, Ill.; a daughter, Darlene Kay Burnett of Sacramento, Calif.; a stepbrother, Roger Yarbro of Lawrence, Kan.; a half brother, Ronnie May of French Village, Mo.; two half sisters, Sue Coomer of Scott City, Margie Privitt of Friendship, Tenn.; two stepsisters, Marilyn Hopper of Wappapello, Mo., Kay Widdows of Paducah, Ky.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, foster parents, a daughter, two stepbrothers and a grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
