SCOTT WRIGHT

ADVANCE - Scott Wright of Advance died Monday Jan. 7, 1991 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was 83.

Born Jan. 14, 1907 near Advance, Wright was the son of the late Fred and Mary Taylor Wright. He retired in 1971 as a section foreman for the Frisco Railroad and was a charter member and a deacon of the First Assembly of God Church of Advance.

Wright married Lucille Duffey Sept. 9, 1927 at Marble Hill. She survives.

Along with his wife, surviving also are a daughter, Evelyn Matney of Advance; a sister, Della Wright of San Antonio, Texas; and a grandson, Michael Matney of Memphis, Tenn.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Officiating will be the Rev. Mike Scott and the Rev. Frank Heitman.

Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
