EAST PRAIRIE -- Scott Eugene Weakley, 17, of East Prairie died Sunday, March 29, 1998, in an automobile accident near East Prairie. EAST PRAIRIE -- Scott Eugene Weakley, 17, of East Prairie died Sunday, March 29, 1998, in an automobile accident near East Prairie.

He was born July 15, 1980, at Charleston, son of Donald Eugene and Claudia Sue O'Connor Weakley.

Survivors include his father of Chaffee; his mother of East Prairie; two sisters, Melissa and Shelley Weakley of East Prairie; a half brother, Tracey Jones with the U.S. Army; maternal grandparents, J.D. O'Connor of Sweetwater, Texas, Kenny and Dixie Counts of East Prairie; and maternal great-grandmother, Annie Hicks of East Prairie.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Martin Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
