Scott Tankersley, son of the late, Bobby Gene Tankersley and Wanda Lee Sullivan Tankersley, was born Aug. 27, 1964, and departed his life Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 58 years. Scott Tankersley, son of the late, Bobby Gene Tankersley and Wanda Lee Sullivan Tankersley, was born Aug. 27, 1964, and departed his life Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 58 years.
He was a graduate of Chaffee (Missouri) High School, former chief gun mechanic at Fairfield Industries and a resident of Chaffee.
On Dec. 7, 1987, he was united in marriage to Beth Ivester in Scott City. She survives of the home.

Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Landon Drue Tankersley of Chaffee; daughter, Lacey Danielle Tankersley of Chaffee; brother, Robert (Celinda) Tankersley of Marble Hill, Missouri; two sisters, Tina Tankersley of Sikeston, Missouri, and Jeannie (David) Groves of Garner, Kansas; and 15 grandchildren, Kaydenee, Jon, Landree, Viking, Gypsy, Timothy, Caedi, Tyler, Natalie, Jayda, Holly, Lexi, Gavin, Geneva and Presley.
Memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
