JACKSON, Mo. -- Sarah Elizabeth Anne Volkerding, age 33, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, at her home in Jackson.
She was born Jan. 2, 1969, in St. Louis, daughter of Kenneth E. and Rebecca Campbell Volkerding. Sarah was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. She was em-ployed several years as a sales clerk at the Dollar General Store in Jackson.
Survivors include a son, Joshua Volkerding of Jackson; parents, Kenneth and Rebecca Volkerding of Jackson; fiance, Tony Bolen of Jackson; three brothers, Kyle Volkerding of Cape Girardeau, and Kent and Don Tom Volkerding of Sunset Beach, Calif.; a sister, Allyson Volkerding of Jackson; maternal grandparents, Bill and Ruth Campbell of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Nelson and Dorothy Volkderding.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson and from 12 to 2 p.m. Monday at Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Birthright or Hanover Lutheran Church Building Fund.
