Sarah Masters

Patton, Mo. — Sarah Jane Masters, 85, of Patton died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at her home.

She was born Dec. 22, 1922, in Patton, daughter of Henry John and Pernecia Jane Statler Bahnerd.

She and Winford Floyd Masters were married Sept. 21, 1950. He died Nov. 27, 1996.

She had worked many years as a clerk at the Whitener Grocery in Patton and was a member of Patton Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Floyd Masters of Perryville, Mo., and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roy Michael officiating.

Burial will be in the Patton Cemetery in Patton.
