PADUCAH, Ky. -- Sara Lee Trexler of Paducah and formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at the home of her daughter in Paducah. She was 86.

She was born Jan. 28, 1912, in Carryville, Ark., daughter of Andrew and Lovie Toombs Vancil.

She married Lowell Earl Trexler. He died 1972.

She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Cairo.

She is survived by five daughters, Dorothy Tarnow of Woodland, Calif., Patsy J. Salmon of Sikeston, Esther Lee Denton of Paducah, Gloria Jean Carter of Riverside, Calif., and Karen Sue Plante of Johnson City, Tenn.; three sons, Jack Trexler of Carriere, Miss., Paul Trexler of Picayune, Miss., and Larry Joe Trexler of Cunningham, Tenn.; 36 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Davidson officiating.

Burial will be at the Alto Pass Cemetery.
