CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Sandra Kay Ziegler, 62, of Chaffee passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the family home.
She was born Oct. 8, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, to the late Thomas M. and Arietta Faye Spurlock Hogan. She and Ronald Ziegler were married June 26, 1971.
Sandra was a retired heart monitor tech at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald of the home; a son, Thomas (Sherri) Ziegler of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Tracy (Chris) Griggs of Miner, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Tristan and Peyton Ziegler, Nicholas Shaw, and Jordan, Landon, Isaac and Savannah Griggs; and two sisters, Debra Hogan Knight of Jackson and Lisa Gaye Hogan of Arkadelphia, Ark.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery in Anna, Ill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee to help with funeral expenses.
