SANDRA LECARPENTIER

BENTON -- Funeral for Sandra M. Lecarpentier of Benton will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Joel Oliver will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. Thursday.

Lecarpentier, 62, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born June 16, 1936, in St. Louis, daughter of Marvin and Esther Koch Nance. She married Bernard Lecarpentier June 16, 1956, in St. Louis.

Lecarpentier was a 1954 graduate of Maplewood High School, and received a nursing degree from Mineral Area College.

She was a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Licensed Practical Nurses Association and recipient of the 1989 Life Savers Award.

Survivors include her husband of Bayeux, France; two sons, Steven Lecarpentier of Germany, Ben Lecarpentier of England; a daughter, Jeanne Wilson of Benton; a brother, David Nance of Clairton, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
