WICKLIFFE, Ky. -- Sandra Kay Fronabarger, 74, of Wickliffe passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, in Arlington, Kentucky, in a fatal auto accident.

She was born Dec. 25, 1942, in rural Chicora, Pennsylvania, to Michael "Mike" and Florence Fair Erdos.

After her high-school graduation, Sandra took correspondence courses with TWA and later was employed by TWA in Kansas City. It was there she met the love of her life, Robert P. "Bob" Fronabarger, originally from Oak Ridge. They were married Feb. 3, 1962, in Oak Ridge. Two children were born to their union. They had been married 52 years when Bob passed away Sept. 8, 2014.

Bob's employment with the Department of Agriculture took the family to Sioux City, Iowa, where Sandra worked at a manufacturing company. Upon purchasing Cairo Grain Inspection Agency in Cairo, Illinois, the family moved to Wickliffe. Sandra still enjoyed working and managing the company.

Sandra was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in LaCenter, Kentucky, and served in various capacities.

She was an avid reader and liked to work in her yard, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandbabies.
