MIDLOTHIAN, Ill. -- Samuel Verble, 75, of Midlothian, formerly of McClure, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 1994, at his home.
He was born Nov. 15, 1919, in Ullin, the son of Daniel and Mary Bailey Verble. He was married to Rosetta McCrite.
Verble was a retired die welder for Modern Drop Forge in Blue Island. He had lived in Midlothian for 34 years.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Jane Verble of Midlothian; five sons, Sammy Verble, Danny Verble, Gary Verble, Jerry Verble and Terry Verble of Midlothian; three sisters, Minnie Sydenstricker of Cahokia, Bessie Kaufman of Dupo and Winifred Flowers of Mounds; one brother, Dan Verble of Pekin; and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure. Visitation will be at the cemetery at the time of the service.
Crain Funeral Home of Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
