Service for Samuel Franklin Hopkins of Columbia will be held at 4 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Marble Hill.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until service time.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Marble Hill.
Hopkins, 38, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999.
He was born Sept. 14, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, son of Charles Franklin and Dixie Rodgers Hopkins.
Hopkins had worked in the family business in Marble Hill. He later was employed at McAdams Limited, J. Functions and Victor's Garret in Columbia.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Marble Hill, Order of the Arrow, and was an Eagle Scout.
Survivors include his parents of Cape Girardeau; a friend, Jim Green of Columbia; two brothers, Mark Hopkins of Memphis, Tenn., John Hopkins of St. Louis; and a sister, Sarah Hopkins of Cape Girardeau.
