Sally Steuerwald

Sally Mae Steuerwald, 59, of Burfordville died Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 24, 1962, in Stoddard County, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Ida Barbee Deimund.

Sally was a 1981 graduate of Oak Ridge High School.

She was a dedicated mother working many jobs while caring for her family. She was a loving and supportive grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.

Loving survivors include her two daughters, Melinda Fowler of Burfordville and Roxanna Ditto of Cape Girardeau; brother, Robert (Jean) Deimund of St. Peters, Missouri; her former husband, Jerry Steuerwald of Biehle, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Adrian, Allyah and Destiney Steuerwald, Alexis and Austin Ditto, Athena Kifer and Kiara Fowler.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
