CHARLESTON -- Sally May Banks, 51, of Charleston died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born July 5, 1946, in Cliftonville, Miss., daughter of Sally May Reed and Spencer Hound.
Banks was a member of Faith Temple Church at Wyatt.
Survivors include four sons, Sylvester and Carlos Banks of Charleston, Timothy Banks of Cape Girardeau, Michael Banks of Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Yvette Banks of Charleston; five brothers, Les Tate Jr. of Youngstown, Ohio, Ernest Tate and Frank Davis of Charleston, Wiley Orr Jr. of Wyatt, Jimmy Davis of Columbus; five sisters, Annie Armstrong and Geneva Orr of Wilson City, Daisy Orr, Kimberly Webb and Rochelle Orr of Cairo, Ill.; and 13 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Temple Church, with Elder L.D. Pullins officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
