Sadie Mosley, 88, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at her home. She was born on Sept. 9, 1929, in Scooba, Mississippi, to Ples and Mary Nicholson. She married Edgar Mosley on Dec. 10, 1945. He survives. Sadie was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and accepted him as her Lord and Savior in 1941. Sadie Mosley, 88, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at her home.

She was born on Sept. 9, 1929, in Scooba, Mississippi, to Ples and Mary Nicholson. She married Edgar Mosley on Dec. 10, 1945. He survives.

Sadie was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and accepted him as her Lord and Savior in 1941. She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, where she served as treasurer of the mission and usher.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Edgar Mosley; four daughters, Mary Scott of Colorado, Mindi Lewis of Georgia, Bret Estes of Maryland and Lucy Primm of Cape Girardeau; three sons, James Mosley of Cape Girardeau, Marcellus Mosley of Texas and Joseph Mosley of Maryland; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Grover and Charles Mosley, five brothers and three sisters.

All family and friends are welcome to attend a gathering from noon until the time of service Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral services for Sadie Mosley will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
